Bang zoom!

To the moon Alice! Ringer T
A day of coinkidinks! We mark the 1828 birthday of Frenchman Jules Verne, Science-Fiction pioneer — known as the "Father" of that genre — author of From the Earth to the Moon (1865), among many other writings. Audrey Meadows, who played Ralph Kramden's tough but long-suffering wife Alice on the 1950s TV series The Honeymooners, is born on this date in 1924. Today in 1984 is the first time eight people are launched into space. That's several sets of Honeymooners.

This TO THE MOON ALICE! Ringer T, presenting the "sweet nothing" Ralph Kramden oft' expressed to his darling wife — variations here — can be found in the Just Plain Funny section of the vintage humor-oriented CafePress.com Retro Café shop. Their slogan: "This is the stuff your Grandma warned you about!" — '50s Offensive Humor T-shirts & Gifts.
